ABOUT

My name is Dr. Veronica Steller, and as a licensed clinical psychologist, I specialize in providing psychological treatment for adults facing complex psychiatric and medical issues, including anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, panic disorders, psychological trauma, physical trauma, chronic pain, and cancer. With my expertise in health psychology, I help clients understand how various factors influence their physical well-being, mental health, and illness.


I have extensive experience in trauma therapy, addressing emotional dysregulation stemming from complex trauma, as well anxiety and depressive disorders, interpersonal issues, relapse prevention strategies, grief/loss, and end-of-life concerns for both patients and their family members. 


I recognize the numerous challenges life presents, and I empathize with your journey to overcome these obstacles. Utilizing evidence-based methods, I create personalized treatment plans tailored to your unique needs. The range of services and costs is determined by the complexity of the evaluation. A portion of the assessment process is conducted outside of face-to-face hours for thorough analysis and reporting.

Individual: $295/session

While we do not work with insurance, we can provide a superbill to assist you with potential insurance reimbursement. In addition, sliding scale fees may apply on a case-by-case basis.

Assessment

Psychological Testing is billed at an hourly rate of $250 for a 60-minute session. Report writing is also billed hourly. The total cost for a psychological assessment can vary, typically ranging from $1,200 to $2,500, depending on the specific services required.

Consultation

If time-consuming consultation or significant collaboration with third-parties is requested or required, it will be billed at an hourly rate of $295.

Payments accepted: All major credit cards, Health Savings Account, and Venmo/Zelle.

I hold a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology and have completed extensive training in a variety of evidence-based therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance-commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive-processing therapy (CPT), exposure and response prevention (ERP), and mindfulness-based therapies. I am licensed in Florida and Vermont, as well as have a "Provider’s Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology" (PSYPACT certification). 


I work with adult individuals, 18+ age-range.


I specialize in treating trauma-related disorders, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, and complex health-related issues. 


No, I am considered an out-of-network provider. I collect my fees at the time of service, and should you wish, I will be happy to provide you will a detailed receipt you may submit to your insurance carrier for possible reimbursement, or to be applied to deductible.


To determine if you have mental health coverage with out of network providers, the first thing you should do is check with your insurance carrier. Ask your carrier to find answers to the following questions: What are my mental health benefits? What is the coverage amount per therapy session? How much does my insurance pay for an out-of-network provider?


Yes. Due to licensure laws,  I can only provide therapy when you are physically in a location in which I hold an active license or a state that is part of PSYPACT. As a PSYPACT provider, I have Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology, allowing me to see clients virtually in most states.
